This saves our students time and money as one family can sign up for lessons on multiple instruments on the same day. We offer music lessons in guitar, bass, piano, voice, and drums to students of all ages and levels.
2. Our exceptional teaching staff.
We are dedicated to providing quality instruction customized to the needs and goals of our students. All of our teachers have either University / College training, years of professional performance experience or both. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that YOU want to learn in your music lesson. <Read more about our Teachers here.>
3. A wide range of lesson times available.
Monday - Saturday. Additional times may be available upon request. We will work with you to set up a convenient lesson time.
3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays
4. A proven track record of excellence.
Although we are NEW in Sudbury, many of our teachers have years of experience. Visit our testimonial page to see what our students (and their parents) are saying. Our full time mission is to teach music lessons that are educational, inspirational, and lots of fun!
5. A comfortable waiting area for parents, family members and friends.
Our clients enjoy a professional parent's lounge, kids toys, magazines and bottled water. We also provide observation windows on every door so that you can watch your child's lesson while you wait. Or if you prefer you can sit in on their lesson anytime you like.
6. Fully equipped lesson rooms!
Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including amps, stereos, drums, keyboards, guitars and more (we provide loaner guitars if you don't have one). Technology is also a big part of lessons at the Sudbury Music Academy (LED Monitors, iPads, Laptops). This allows students to have a modern and engaging lesson using music teaching apps, music programs, recording software, and more. Feel free to "Bring Your Own Device" to your lesson in addition to your instrument!
7. Conveniently located in the heart of Sudbury.
Our studio entrance is at the back of the Realty Executives building (we are down the stairs with over 1500 square feet of teaching space). You can get errands done while you wait, pick up groceries, or grab a coffee from Tim Hortons.
8. FREE recitals and performance opportunities.
Recitals are a great way for students to showcase their skills and the progress they have made. Our recitals are always free and open to friends and family.
9. Trophies, certificates and award wristbands to celebrate achievement.
We are the only music school in Sudbury that gives their students the opportunity to earn special colour wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies and certificates for passing musical tests. We love inspiring our students by giving them full colour, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends.
More importantly, when our students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins. You can only get the Musical Ladder here. We also specialize in music lessons for adults. We don't think learning music should be boring--it should be fun!
10. Make Up Classes.
Missed a lesson? Out of town? No problem. Just sign up for our weekend classes. They never expire, and you can come when it's convenient for you.
11. Month to Month lessons.
Sudbury Music Academy does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we will not commit you to a long term contract.
It's easy to take the next step:
Studio Lessons are $25 per 30 minutes and Virtual Lessons are $23 per 30 minutes. Enrollment is first come, first served.
